United Airline w/Robert Redford

United Airlines has released a series of commercials to play in conjunction with the Olympics with Robert redford supplying the voice. I’ve posted one here but there are additional ones available on youtube.

Some are better than others and Redford does a good job…except for the tag line imo. All the ads use the same tag at the end but I just find it a bit lacking.

    Yeah. I see what you mean. The tag is kinda hollow and deliberate.

    Hey James!
    I JUST saw this ad tonight for the first time.
    Shows you how observant I am…it didn’t even “click” that that was Redford.

    Yeah, it’s OK…
    On the other hand I LOVE the way Morgan Freeman voiced the Visa ads.

    Yeah, I wouldn’t have known it was Redford either if I didn’t read about it first.

    I saw this ad during the Olympics and didn’t realize it was Redford. I think the whole voiceover could use more energy.

    I agree Arlene. I guess “understated” is what they were looking for.
